I designed and built our new home in Salmon Arm, B.C. It is a true post and beam structure, with mortise and tennons and hardwood pegs. Hyde Saw Mill supplied a total of close to 20,000 bf. of Douglas fir timber and around 2,500 bf of larch for our plank flooring.

I have used Hyde Sawmill on several of my projects. At this time I feel they are the only mill that can provide quality timbers at a competitive price. Al Hyde and the crew at Hyde sawmill are always professional to deal with. All Product is cut on time and ready on or before agreed upon delivery date. We build an upscale home and Hyde provided us with 1700 square feet of vertical cut fur that was used for our flooring throughout the home. It was a beautiful product and was actually the selling point of the home at the time of the sale, it was an awesome product. Our second experience with Hyde Sawmill was the building of our home in Sicamous BC. We built a fir post and beam style home, and Hyde Sawmill provided us with a beautiful product that many people complement on as they review our place. We also had Hyde provide us with our cedar decking and the fir product for our pergola at the rear of our home.
